BET Awards 11 Nominations

Yes yes y'all, that time of the year is fast approaching again. The BET awards were huge for us Nigerians last year because or boy's M.I and P Square were nominated. This year however, guess who was nominated for Best International Act from Nigeria? That's right, no one, last year was just a fluke. Ok let that settle in, cause I just punk'd y'all. 2Face and D'banj received noms this year for that category. D'black represented Ghana in the noms, Fally Ipupa represented DR Congo, Anjelique Kidjo repped Benin and Tear Gas represented South Africa. Y'all wonder why Tinie Tempah and all those British acts weren't nominated? Well that's cause this is the "Best International Act(Africa)" category; There's a seperate category for UK artists.

That being said, The "Best International Act(UK)" has "most" of the people y'all expected. There's no Sade and Estelle this year for y'all expecting them. However for this year, we have: VV Brown, Chipmunk, Laura Izibor, Skepta, Tinchy Stryder and the one and only Tinie Tempah.

Now that we are done with the irrelevant segments of the nominations (don't beef me for saying that yo, it true, they don't even televise these parts of the award), let's get to the parts that would make the TV cut of the award show airing on the 26th of June.

Young Money artists seem to rule this category, as their artist either own or are featured in 5 of the 6 nominated songs. It'll be so weird for them if Mindless Behavior wins #justsaying.
