First off, this is already a good collaboration because the artists that came together for this tune have had huge individual success (well not really individual for Kelly). However that isn't what makes this song special. What makes this so exciting is the fact that these two individuals had a huge hit back in the early 00's, remember "Dilemma" y'all? I was like 13 or so then, "Nelly and Kelly", "Kelly I Love you" and "No matter what I do..." and the rest of the song lyrics were on my lips for that whole year (and it's not just me y'all, admit it).
Another thing is that, the song doesn't need to depend on the artiste's past glory, it's actually awesome on it's own. If you just heard it without knowing these two before, you would fall still deeply in love with it. The video also perfectly complements the song. Everything about it just seems right.
