I love this song. Matter of fact, I love any song in the Nas and Damian Marley collaborative album "Distant Relatives." This is arguably one of the hottest collaborative albums ever. Hip-Hop and Reggae are fused in a classic mixture of tune rhythm and punchline.
"Patience" is coincidentally my best single on the album, and the fact that they eventually released a video for it does not surprise me. It talks about the struggles we humans face. It goes in-depth on African hustle, how little kids are exploited for money and stuff like that. The song touches your inner soul and it keeps me thinking about how lucky and blessed by God I am to be this privileged. It will get you thinking too!!!
P.S. The fluctuation in our blog-post frequency has been due to extreme laziness, lack of inspiration, school work and poor view statistics this past few weeks. However, we are committed to put that behind us, and get stronger.
